Lucinda Borrell is an award nominated freelance journalist specialising in news and current affairs whose career spans across TV, audio and print. Working as a reporter, producer, writer and director, she often works with under represented communities developing and leading investigations that bring their experiences to the attention of audiences across the UK.
She has a strong track record working with vulnerable contributors alongside data scraping and analysis to expose widespread social injustice and has worked on high profile investigations for outlets such as Panorama, Dispatches, Exposure, Newsnight, File in 4, Radio 4, The Telegraph Investigations team, The Bureau of Investigative Journalism, Money Saving Expert, Financial Times and The Bureau of Investigative Journalism.
Lucinda’s work has gained widespread professional recognition across the journalism industry and in 2023 the was shortlisted for the Freelance Journalism Awards as well as the British Journalism Awards for her work as a reporter.
She has also worked on projects that were nominated for the Orwell Prize (Buzzfeed; 2019) and won the Medical Journalism Awards (Panorama; 2022).
